Position 18: Postpositions
Morphemes that are derivational or thematic and carry a locative or relational meaning something like
English preposition (e.g. by the lake, at the store).
They must follow a noun or a pronoun which is a noun of Position 19 refereed to as o in the following.
Note: the postposition/object of the postposition can act as a "word unit" by itself apart from a verb stem.
o-a on, against, in contact with, exerting a force against
o-a³iqa being icy from spray
o-ahdyidehch' on top of o
o-at on o
o-aq'a clubbing o
o'aq'a refers to the depression made by an object in soft ground or snow.
